Ballet2Ballet technique requires much more concentration and discipline in order to execute the movement detail properly. Barre work, port de bras. stretching and strengthening exercises are balanced. Ballet builds a strong foundation of coordination. appreciation of art, and an expressive achievement which are great assets for any endeavor.

The practical assets include less resistance to the floor for turns, placement of the weight of the body directly over supporting toes, and the necessary strengthening of the foot while training en pointe. The age of the dancer recommended beginning pointe work depends on her physique, the level of her technique, and the rate of her progress. Dancers are required to take 2 ballet classes a week in addition to the pointe class. Teacher recommendation and approval is required before starting this class.
